    ROTATION

We transform luxury hotels into art galleries in order to provide emerging and mid-career artists with sustainable opportunities.

How does art rotation work?

New event concept for luxury hotels

We collaborate with the hospitality, residential, commercial and cultural sectors to promote emerging and mi-career artists with a program called Art Rotation. This cycle of temporary art exhibitions launched with a local venue partner features the work four artists for a period of three months. We do believe hospitality professional share this vision with us: to bring travelers, clients and business partners closer to local cultures, whether in the visited country or back home. Every piece of art for sale in the venue is accompanied by a wall tag presenting the artwork in a succinct manner. Staying in a hotel shall be a unique cultural experience that will last long after the stay is over.

Jeopardising as it has been, 2020 was a year of adversity for most of us. We had to go through the horror of lockdown, social distancing and working from home, being all alone. Yet, it was a testament to how much we appreciate what we are having, a time of self-discovery, and awakening. We are making huge progress in achieving the new normal and still keeping on going. During this catastrophic time in the recent history, we can still see hope and spread optimism to everyone around us. Never have we been able to spend so much precious time with our family and beloved ones. The pandemic has either torn us apart or brought us closer. This month, in celebration of International Women’s Day, women will be represented in various different states of emotions in this historic time.

Strictly speaking, the word abstract means to separate or withdraw something from something else. Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect. This way, abstract art is created by numerous of artists since it does not require any particular education in fine art, but emotional skills. The term can be applied to art that is based an object, figure or landscape, where forms have been simplified or schematised. Abstract art is often seen as carrying a moral dimension, in that it can be seen to stand for virtues such as order, purity, simplicity and spirituality. Since the early 1900s, after the artistic revolution initiated by the French impressionist movement, abstract art has formed a central stream of modern and contemporary art.
